In the majority of cases, anything posted to you that isn't 'Signed For' is protected by Ceirys obtaining a 'Proof of Postage' receipt so that, in the unlikely event that it goes astray (which would be most unusual), the company can provide to you - the buyer - proof of when your purchase was dispatched. Similarly, anything posted 'First Class Signed For' carries a tracking number and Royal Mail uploads to its site, a copy of the recipients signature and the time of delivery. In the event that there is nobody at the delivery address to accept the package, your Royal Mail delivery colleague will leave a card advising that an attempt to deliver was made.
